Briercrest College Opportunity

Opportunity to Play Collegiate Ball in Canada

Briercrest College and Seminary in Caronport, Saskatchewan is looking for a few more players to make up their softball squad.  This is a completely brand new Women’s softball program and there is an opportunity for graduating girls to play here and help shape its future!

Located near Regina, Saskatchewan, this Christian College plays in the WCSA (Western Collegiate Softball Association).  This would be a great opportunity for athletes to continue to play ball beyond high school as we launch the inaugral program next fall.  As a first year athlete you would have an opportunity for significant playing time and to take on a leadership role.

Saskatchewan is currently experiencing a period of unprecedented growth and has the highest employment rate in all of Canada.

If you are a potential athlete or if you know someone who might be a good prospect we want to hear from you!  Check us out –  We look forward to hearing from you soon.

Softball Season Nears End

Is it Over Already?

As the regular season winds down and on behalf of the Lower Mainland Softball Committee, I want to thank the many coaches, coordinators, managers, scorekeepers, and volunteers that planned, organized and volunteered your time!! A big thanks as well to the many parents that supported your teams, drove players to and from games, and cheered on your kids. Your work is appreciated and does not go unnoticed. We also thank the players for their patience and understanding through the weather challenges.

We appreciate all of the efforts put forward to make 2013 another successful season of ball. Your support and positive feedback is what keeps us motivated to make each and every season better than the year before.

Please note that we appreciate any feedback on your season, schedule or website and how we can improve the process for next year. Please send them to Comments.

As well, congratulations and good luck to the teams that are going on to represent their communities and associations in the upcoming Provincial and National Championship tournaments.

Thank you again and we look forward to seeing you all in 2014!
